The Knights of East Ridge make their third appearance all-time in the Florida League High School Invitational, and their first since 2017. A team with sophomores throughout the lineup, East Ridge enters the 2025 tournament with a winning record after a 9-16 season a year ago. The Knights are led by Haisum Osuna, who enters the tournament with an OPS over 1.000, and Stephen Pineda, who has been reaching base at a clip above .500.

Eustis went 2-2 in the Florida League High School Invitational last season, picking up wins over Montverde Academy and University (Ill.) in The Classic. The Panthers started the 2025 season with eight consecutive season, and started March ranked among the top 30 teams in Florida by MaxPreps. Head Coach Tony Thomas said his team will rely on a solid defense and a pitching staff that puts the ball in the strike zone consistently.

The "Gray" squad of one of the nation's top prep baseball programs brings a roster loaded with college signees to Seminole County in 2025. The most notable of these signees is Clemson commit Peyton Miller, who arrived at IMG Academy as one of the top ten players in the state of Maryland according to Perfect Game. The Ascenders' head coach is former Major Leaguer Kason Gabbard, who played three MLB seasons for the Red Sox and Rangers.

Under the direction of longtime head coach Kerry Whetro, a former Florida Collegiate Summer League assistant coach, Lake Minneola won more than 20 games last season and qualified for the regional tournament in Class 6A. The Hawks' roster features a pair of Division I commits in UCF signee Brady Montrowl, one of the top 60 players in Florida by Perfect Game, and Stetson pledge Fabian Antonsanti, who ranks among the top 100 juniors in Florida.

Very few programs have played in more FHSI games than Montverde Academy, who will be appearing in their 12th tournament this year. The Eagles are consistently a top program in the state of Florida, and advanced to the regional playoffs in a loaded Class 3A last season. Junior Max Irving is a USF commit, with head coach Victor Valencia stating Irving and San Jacinto commit Danati Frontudo will lead the team offensively.

The Christ School is one of two North Carolina programs to play in the FHSI, with the Greenies making their third appearance. Christ School was in central Florida last year, picking up wins over IMG Royal and Clearwater in the Classic. With four players currently pledged to play college baseball, the Greenies ended 2024 ranked seventh in Class 4A of the NCISAA, North Carolina's independent schools association.
