Sophomore infielder Matthew Dickey was a force at the plate all week long, helping the North Florida Christian Eagles to a 4-0 record during the FHSI Showcase. Dickey recorded multiple hits in all four games played, including a 4-4 effort against Osceola on Tuesday night. He ended the week with eleven hits in fifteen at bats, good for a .733 average. Not only did he get on base a ton, he hit for power and produced runs. Dickey stroked four doubles and a homerun, and also scored six times with four RBI.

Max McKinley
Maclay
Maclay's Max McKinley earned recognition as the top pitcher in the Showcase tournament after helping the Marauders to the championship. The senior RHP made three appearances during the week, and allowed no runs. He fired one inning against Flagler Palm Coast, 2/3 of an inning against Okeechobee and propelled his team to the championship with a complete game shutout of Barron Collier on Thursday. In 8.2 innings, McKinley held his opponents scoreless, and allowed only five baserunners (three hits, two walks). He recorded nine strikeouts in his three games.
